What is a Blog?

The word “weblog” was specie by Jorn Barger on december 1997. The short form weblog “blog”, was mintage by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the word weblog into the idiom “we blog” in the sidebar of his blog Peterme.com in 1999.

Defination:

A blog is an online diary or knowledge base website displaying information in the reverse chronological order, with recent posts appearing first and first post appearing at last. It is a platform where a writer or a group of writers share their views on an individual subject or topic.

A blog is type of a website, every Blog is a website but not every website is blog
